W.A.S.P. Tribute Track Posted Online
December 13, 2004Captain T (a.k.a. Mark Strigl) and John Ostronomy (a.k.a. John Ostrosky),who can be seen on VH1's "100 Most Metal Moments" and "40 Least Metal Moments", have posted an MP3 of their contribution to the upcoming Valhalla Records W.A.S.P. tribute album at this location. The group recorded a version of W.A.S.P.'s cover of THE WHO's "The Real Me", which appeared on W.A.S.P.'s 1989 effort, "The Headless Children". They will play a free show at the Continental in New York City on Tuesday, December 14.
Both Captain T and Ostronomy are devastated by the tragic loss of Dimebag Darrell. "We send our deepest sympathies to Dimebag's family and the families of all who were lost in this senseless tragedy," said Ostronomy. A photo of Ostronomy and Dimebag from happier times is posted at this location. Ostronomy always considered it an honor to have appeared on the Ace Frehley tribute album "Return of the Comet" with both Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul.
